Tutorial: Calculate Your Visa Stay in 5 Steps

Last updated: 2026-09-03

This tool calculates with the fixed-period system: the date of first entry is the starting point, you can stay no longer than 90 days in each 180-day cycle and no more than 180 days in each 365-day cycle. Before you start, we recommend reading the Rule description to confirm that your visa caliber matches this site.

Step 1: Enter historical entry and exit itineraries

Enter your historical entry and exit records in Itinerary Management:

  1. Choose the entry date and departure date (the first and last days each count as 1 day — e.g., entering and leaving on the same day counts as 1 day).
  2. You can fill in the remarks (such as country/reason) and click "Add"
  3. Click a date field to open the calendar popup and change it, or click "Delete" to remove a record.

Tip: Overlapping dates are not allowed — do not enter duplicate schedules. The first entry date you enter is the starting point of your cycle. For sample data, you can click "Clear All" and then enter the real itinerary.

Step 2: Check today's status

"Today's Status" at the top of the page directly displays: the number of elapsed days in the two fixed periods that today belongs to (180-day period X/90, 365-day period Y/180), remaining quota and comprehensive status (compliance/departure/overdue).

Step 3: Query on any date

Enter any date (including history and future) to view the accumulated stay and remaining quota for the period to which that day belongs. Clicking on any date on the calendar will automatically fill in the query box.

Step 4: Plan Verification (Most Useful)

Enter the intended entry date, and the tool automatically calculates the latest legal departure date — meeting both the 180-day cycle (≤90 days) and the 365-day cycle (≤180 days), including cross-cycle quota resets. If the limit is already exceeded for that day, a message will indicate that the plan is not feasible.

Step 5: Year-Round Calendar

The calendar only marks dates within your itinerary: compliant = green, overdue = red; all non-travel dates are white. Hover over any date to see the accumulated and available days in the period. Above the calendar there is also "Itinerary Impact Analysis": the next available entry date, the next overstay period, and the quota release date.

Data Storage Instructions

All trip records are saved only in your browser's local storage (localStorage) and are not uploaded to any server. It will be lost if you clear the browser data or change devices. For long-term use, we recommend organizing your records regularly.
