Contact Us
This is a small, independently run project. Email is the one channel we actually monitor — there is no phone line, no live chat, and no ticket system. Everything below describes what we do with your message once it arrives.
- General, corrections and everything else:
plivet222222@gmail.com - Preferred format: plain text or a link to a screenshot. Attachments are fine.
We deliberately publish a real address rather than a web form. A form would mean storing whatever you type on our servers; email means the message stays in your own sent folder and ours, and nothing is collected on the way.
What to expect and when
This site is maintained by one person, not by a support team. There is no ticket system and no service-level commitment: every message is read, and replies go out as time allows. Do not plan around our reply time. If you are working to a visa deadline — an appointment, a submission window, a flight — go straight to the embassy, consulate or visa centre responsible for your application.
Reporting a data error (the most useful thing you can send)
Visa rules change constantly: fees are revised, processing times shift by consular district, visa-free agreements get extended, and entry rules are re-interpreted at the border. If something on this site is wrong, the fastest possible fix comes from a message that contains these five items:
- The page URL and the country or visa type you were looking at.
- The field that is wrong (fee, processing time, validity, maximum stay, required documents, entry mode).
- What the page currently says, quoted, so we do not have to guess.
- A link to the official source — embassy, consulate, visa centre, or the government portal that publishes the rule. A screenshot of that page helps too.
- If the rule differs by consular district, say which district the correct version applies to.
We do not accept "someone told me" or aggregator blog posts as a source. If we cannot trace a correction to an official page, we will say so in the reply and leave the data as it stands rather than change it on an unverifiable basis.
Privacy and deletion requests
The calculator stores your trip records in your own browser (local storage). We never receive them. Practically, that means:
- Clearing your trips: use the clear function in the tool, or clear site data in your browser. No request to us is needed.
- Email correspondence: a correction thread is kept until the same rule changes again and the thread is no longer needed for reference, then deleted.
- Deletion request: write to the address above with the subject line
DELETEand we will delete the thread and confirm once it is done.
Other reasons people write in
- Accessibility problems — unreadable contrast, keyboard traps, screen-reader labels. Tell us the browser and assistive technology you use.
- Citing or republishing our data — say where it will appear. You may quote figures with attribution and a link; wholesale republishing of the country tables is not permitted (see Terms of Use).
- Advertising and sponsorship — this site is funded by display advertising. We do not sell placement inside editorial content, and advertisers have no say over which countries we cover or what the data says.
- Press and research — we can describe our methodology and point you to the primary sources we used.
What we cannot do
Being explicit about this saves everyone time. We do not provide:
- visa agency, filing or appointment-booking services;
- legal advice on an individual application, refusal or appeal;
- expedited handling, "guaranteed approval", or intervention with an embassy;
- interpretation of your personal immigration history;
- status updates on an application you have already filed.
For any of the above, contact the embassy, consulate or visa centre handling your case, or a licensed immigration practitioner in the relevant jurisdiction.
What happens after you write
- It is read. Every message gets read, including the ones we cannot act on.
- It is checked against the official source. If your message names one, we open it. If it does not, we look for one before touching the data — and if none exists, we say so rather than change a figure on an assertion.
- The record is either changed or explained. If it changes, the record's update month changes with it and the correction is noted in this page's change log. If it does not change, the reply explains which source we are following and why.
- A reply goes out, within the window stated above.
We do not publish a correction without a source, and we do not silently edit. If you see a figure changed but the update month unchanged, that is a bug — tell us.
If you are writing about a specific country
Two things make a report much faster to action:
- Name the mission that will decide your application. Requirements, fees and appointment processes often differ between consular districts of the same country — a rule that is right for Beijing may be wrong for Shanghai or Guangzhou. A report that says "the Berlin mission" is actionable; "Germany is wrong" usually is not.
- Say whether it applies to all applicants or only to your nationality. Some arrangements are bilateral, and some are limited to holders of a third-country visa.
Short answers to the questions we get most
- Why did my trip data disappear?
- The calculator stores trips in your browser's local storage, scoped to this site. Clearing browsing data, using private/incognito windows, switching browsers, or switching between the English and Chinese versions can each make records look missing. Nothing is stored on our side, so we cannot recover them — but re-entering the dates takes a minute.
- Can I get bulk access to the country data?
- Not by scraping. If you have a legitimate need — research, a comparison you are publishing, an academic project — write to the address above describing the use, and we will discuss it case by case. We would rather grant permission than fight a scraper.
- Can you check my dates for me?
- No. We will not audit an individual itinerary by email, because a wrong answer from us could cost you a refusal or an overstay penalty. The calculator is the tool; the verification is yours, and the final word is the border officer's.
- Will you add my country?
- Possibly — say which country and which visa type, and what you need it for. Coverage decisions follow reader demand, not payment.
Who runs this site
This is a personally maintained, independent free tool project. It is not operated by a company, an agency or a commercial team, and it is not affiliated with any government body. The operating model, sourcing standards, update triggers and stated limits are documented in full on the Team & Methodology page — that page is the authoritative statement, not this one.
Because the project is independent, the practical consequence for you is simple: there is no call centre, and no one to escalate to. Corrections that come with an official source get acted on; everything else gets read and answered when time allows.
